Prayer 1st

The bible teaches us that we should be in constant communion with God and that we should gather together often in community.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing.”

Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

The fact of the matter is that God wants to be in community with each one of us daily. His desire is to live in fellowship with the people He created. We should take time daily to meet with Him and allow Him to fill us with His presence and from this we can be reminded of all the great things God has done for us. (Celebrating the resurrected Christ!)

As we grow together in community (prayer) with God, we will naturally grow together in community with one another. This will move us to gather together in Jesus name; celebrating all that Jesus did for us to ensure we can have communion with God. (Matthew 27:51)

We all have a part to play in this and make no mistake, your part is critical! The greatest thing you can do is to pray! Prayer is where we will find and begin to understand grace. Prayer is where we will find the power to live in obedience to God’s calling in our lives. When we commune with God, we are changed by God. The ability to be in His presence is the greatest gift we have in this life.

An essential condition to fulfilling our purpose of helping others grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, is the development of a prayer life. This must be established as a habit that we do daily. We will make PRAYER the first priority of all that we do as a family. Join us every week to seek God’s will and pray for those that need to experience the hope of Jesus Christ.

Mark 11:24 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

To God be the glory, forever and ever, Amen!
