What are Rio Links?

We use the terms Rio Link, relational church, and simple church interchangeably. For us “church” means small family-like units that are learning to love God and their neighbor. Rio Links are where you can get to know people, get questions answered, grow spiritually, serve alongside others, share meals, and express your faith (or learn for the first time about faith) face-to-face in real time with actual people. We don’t claim to have our faith figured out, but we’re on the journey together and you’re invited along too. Rio Links balance the five purposes of the church. Everything we do is evaluated on meeting these 5 purposes. We dream of everyone in our community having an opportunity to connect in a group that meets close to their home. We dream of links being the primary places where new believers are reached and discipled, where gifts are discovered, and where leaders are trained and empowered for ministry.
