Children

We love kids  at Soul Rio!  Through L.I.F.T., our weekend ministry for infants through 5th graders our kids Live Intentionally For Truth.  Our program is designed to teach them about God’s Truth, plans and love for them in a creative way.

L.I.F.T. is such a great place that kids can’t wait to get here!  Whether they come on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. or Sunday at 9:30 or 10 a.m. it’s a place that they experience the kind of grace and love that just isn’t in the world- and an experience they enjoy enough to invite their friends.  It’s our goal that this is the best hour of a kid’s week.  And this hour will impact the way they live the other 167 hours each week and even change the rest of their lives.  Our L.I.F.T. Leaders are committed to being a source of hope and encouragment to each child and to creatively and faithfully teach them God’s truths.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

We are a group of friends that have joined together to serve hot meals to the homeless or near homeless in Albuquerque the 3rd Sunday of every month and help support and gather donations for two orphanages, an elderly home and a teen home in Juarez and Madera Mexico.

Please join us. We are always in need of volunteers to serve meals and provide friendship to those in need as well as donations of food, clothing, blankets, hygiene products, household items, cleaning supplies, school supplies and any other items to help our friends on the street and in the shelters.

Partners

We have partnerships with Noon Day Ministries in Albuquerque, NM and Rescue Ministries of Mexico in Juarez and Madera, Mexico.

Men

The SoulRio Men’s Ministry is based on the foundations the Apostle Paul set out in the book of Ephesians, to put on the Full Armor of God.  In this spirit, the men of SoulRio come together to encourage and build up one another so we can stand firm in our beliefs in the face of temptation.  This fellowship as Men, Fathers, Husbands, and Christians binds us together to help one another strive to overcome the many diverse and challenging temptations we are faced with in the world today.  A culture of encouragement and accountability runs prevalent throughout our gatherings and serves to help us overcome the struggles that we all face.  Paul also calls men to be leaders of their families, so much that we would give our lives for our families.  The Men’s Ministry serves as a reminder of our ministry to our families as we help each other become better fathers, husbands, friends, and ultimately, better men.

Men’s Weekly Bible Study

Join us at the Starbucks at Paseo del Norte and Golf Course (in the Smith’s Shopping Center) each Wednesday at 7 a.m.  As iron sharpens iron, we’ll explore God’s Truth together, and have some great coffee too!

Even if you can only stop by for a few minutes or can only come once a month, we will be glad to have you.

Worship Team

We live in a society that loves to worship. To worship means to show that someone or something has worth in your life. We show worth to that which is valuable to us, and we show value with our words, time, and gifts. So everything from sending a birthday card to renovating the kitchen are forms of worship–they are ways in which we attribute value to people and things.

If you play an instrument (or if you don’t-yet), sing, would like to be involved in media, sound, drama or would like to otherwise be a part of a team engaged in giving glory to God through the arts, please contact info@soulrio.com.  We’d love to have you!
