Giving back our first fruits to God is an important part of our spiritual walk. It is simple obedience. Why does God want you to excel in the grace of giving? It’s because He influences the world through his people. God gives to you so, He can give through you! The Bible tells us that everything we have is a gift from God (1 Chronicles 29:14). As you give both faithfully and faith-fully, the world is changed for the glory of God: the gospel is preached, lives are touched, people are fed, bodies are healed, churches are built; and you, in turn, are blessed by God to give again! At Soul Rio, we believe that giving begins at the local church.
How can I give?
There are several convenient and secure methods of giving to offer our tithes and offerings at Soul Rio Church:
- Weekend services: Simply place cash or checks in the offering bag or boxes at the rear of the worship center during the collection at any weekend service. Be sure to include your name and address on the check or envelope for a donation credit to be provided for tax purposes.
- Online Giving: Online giving allows for a specific dollar amount to be deducted automatically from a checking, savings, debit or credit account. You can set up online giving either as a one-time donation or a recurring gift. Online giving is not only easy, it’s also safe and secure. This option helps individuals and families remain faithful in their giving even when they are out of town or unable to attend a weekend service. We call it “automating the important.”

Can I set up recurring donations?
Yes! You can set this up for one-time or recurrences with whatever end date you would like.
Will my contributions be refected on my annual giving statement?
Yes. You will receive an annual giving statement in early January of each year. We also send quarterly statements throughout the year. If you ever want to know exactly where you are year-to-date, contact the office at 505.792.8737 and we can send you an up-to-the minute statement.
What if I change banks?
It’s simple to update your information. Just provide us with the effective date, and new routing and account numbers.
Can I update the frequency or amount of my donation?
Yes, at any time.
How do I get help?

Can I use a credit or debit card?
Yes. And of course, you can draft directly from your bank account as well. We encourage you to pay off any incurred credit card debt monthly.
Can I just try this once?
Yes.
When is my donation charged to my account?
Donations are processed daily, according to the date that you indicate when you set up your giving.
Do I pay any additional fees to give online?
No. iGive is absolutely free to our donors.
