Hello Men!

We are having our monthly Men’s Breakfast! We will meet this Saturday September 24 @ 7:30am for a time of Worship, an encouraging word, and some food/fellowship time.

Plan on coming and inviting as many men that you have in your contact list, facebook friends list, and work place! If we all commit to inviting at least 10 men, we could make a huge impact on our community and Influence one another through our time together. As men we need to meet to encourage, inspire and share all that God is doing in our lives!

We will have a new book for all of you to take with you and use as a tool to grow deeper in your love for our Savior Jesus Christ.

This Sunday the journey begins….Join us this Sunday, September 4 as Pastor Dan begins our new teaching series, “The Road to Recovery.” Everyone has hurts, habits and hangups. Break free and experience true transformation that can only be achieved through Jesus Christ as we explore the healing principles from the Beatitudes. Invite a friend!

We will be cooking and serving a hot meal to the homeless or near homeless in Albuquerque on Sunday, August 21st. Please let Darla  know if you can help.

Soul Rio’s Friends Feeding Friends ministry is providing backpacks filled with school supplies to children in the orphanages of Juarez and Madera, Mexico to help them get off to a good start this school year. We still have several backpack tags left. If you are able to provide supplies or a new backpack, or would like to donate funds to offset the cost of a backpack, please contact the office or Darla at darlascarborough@yahoo.com. Our goal is to provide all 84 children with a new backpack filled with supplies. Leadership Meetings Sundays At 6pm

Soul Rio is at our celebratory best (and loudest) at our baptism celebrations.  Join us July 10 for a BBQ/Baptism at Haynes Park and Pool.  Please bring a side dish or dessert to share!  BBQ starts at 5 p.m. at the park and we’ll move over to the pool afterward for our baptism.  If you have any questions about baptism, please drop us a line.  Watch for more details!

Invite your friends and family to join us for our Good Friday Service at 6:30 p.m.  We will have a time of worship, a dramatic presentation, a short message, communion and commitment time.  We’ll end the evening with a potluck dessert fellowship.  Childcare for younger children is available.
Then on Sunday, join us as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and Pastor Dan concludes the message series, Paid in Full.  We’ll have services at 9 and 10:30 a.m., with coffee and juice thirty minutes before each service.  This is a great time to invite your family and friends!
